An impressive selection of 130 paintings, drawings and sculptures including a lot of key works, unveil every facet of Permeke’s work: female nudes, his initimate bond with land and sea, and his appreciation for working people with hard lives like fishermen and peasants. Permeke’s contemporary relevance is underlined by New landscapers by Thierry De Cordier and nudes by Marlene Dumas.
Oh, and you can download the BOZAR | PERMEKE iPhone/iPad app for free in the iTunes-store;-)
