The Brussels Jazz Marathon | 22-24/05/2015

Discover the vast and diverse jazz offer in our capital: the annual Brussels Jazz Marathon. This year the party celebrates its 20th edition!

The Brussels Jazz Marathon

The Brussels Jazz Marathon attracts jazz buffs from all over the world; numerous festivals amongst which the Brosella Folk & Jazz just a stone’s throw away from the Atomium; an ancient train station converted into a jazz club; a musical instruments museum with the world’s largest collection of saxophones and various record labels established at the heart of the European capital.

Jazz resounds in many clubs and even in the Brussels metro or in the streets on International Jazz Day. Not to mention that Brussels is Toots Thielemans’ home town and as he rightly points out: “We’ve got that thing called swing”.

The Brussels Jazz Marathon brings the most exclusive genres to the general public through a weekend-long programme of in- and outdoor concerts. Live performances take place at Grand-Place, Sablon square, St-Catherine square, F. Cocq square and Luxembourg square as well as in various indoor clubs and bars in the beautiful city centre. Jazz, blues, funk, world… you name it!

Just follow your ears as you stroll around the city. And as if that were not enough, add a special mini Marathon for kids, up- and downtown shuttles and a swinging, friendly atmosphere all over the city…

Don’t miss out on this wonderful weekend : May 22, 23 and 24 !
Free entrance for everyone.

Culinaria: The Belgium Effect

This year, Culinaria has been themed: The Belgium Effect.
Culinaria’s 2015 edition is a celebration of Belgium.

The Culinaria Experience by The Hotel
