Brussels Antiques & Fine Arts Fair (BRAFA) this year will take place from 19 to 27 January 2013. This 58th edition will be the host for 128 exhibitors of wich more than twenty are new participants, who will reveal to the public thousands of works of art of all styles, all ages and all backgrounds.
For the 10th time, the BRAFA will take place in the large halls of the mail sorting station of “Tour & Taxis”. The exhibition space comprises a total surface of 15.400 m², spread over room 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the building A. This historical building, located along the Willebroek canal, is a wonderful example of the Belgian industrial architectural heritage (originally used as a storage place for transit merchandise). Situated in the heart of Brussels, the complex is only a few minutes from Place Rogier, the North Station and the tube station Yser.
This year the interior design of the different rooms of the fair will be executed by Nicolas de Liedekerke and Daniel Culot of “Volume Architecture”. Their team will render a unique creative touch to the architecture of this formal sorting centre.
Faithful to its tradition of paying tribute to a great cultural institution in Belgium, the Brafa is hosting this year the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie in as Guest of Honour.
